Costumes; entertainment and conflict are making head lines lately while worried glances are being cast toward a novelty: creative activists the media calls ” real life superheroes ( RLSH ). “
Despite colorful outfits RLSH are by and large known for lawfulness and relative absence of racism or anti-Semitism. A minute number of their estimated 300-plus members have run afoul of the law, with activists named Phoenix Jones; Bee Sting and Beast even getting arrested around the country with varying results.
Of the three Bee Sting is awaiting trial for a fire arms charge.

Creative activists also have more than their share of watch dogs, internal and other wise.  Members routinely advise and when necessary, campaign against members or causes they feel crossed the line.
Real life super villains ( RLSV ) have etched out a space as community watch dogs and in some cases, opponents of all things RLSH demanding costumes be hung up! Ironically these ” villains ” are often supporters of law enforcement and want attention RLSH get redirected to police.
While not suggesting a trend, these recent mass shootings should inspire RLSH to revisit roles as unofficial morale officers for society and diversity advocates.
As economic pressure squeezes more people into acts of misdirected anger the laughter and motivation ” real life superheroes ” provide can’t be under estimated.
Several national holidays wait in the wings, sure to remind broke, disgusted Americans just how little they have for themselves and loved ones.
Inspiring them is a mission worthy of real life superheroes!

I strongly suspect he methodically planned an insanity defense for the cold blooded mass murder/temper tantrum he meticulously executed.
I strongly suspect the diary he wrote along with dyed hair and vacant court room stare are designed to exempt him from the consequences of his actions.
He’s a typical American entitlement criminal who hurts others because he’s mad over his lot in life- but doesn’t want punishment.
Holmes is playing on anticipated liberal sensibilities in psychiatry; the jury pool and the bench to escape punishment for what he did.
Don’t be fooled folks!
Before elevating him to dean of the real life super criminal set let’s make sure he’s really crazy first.
He’s definitely blood thirsty and doesn’t value human life outside his own- hence his peaceful surrender to police.

Jarell Brooks, Dark Knight Movie Massacre Hero

God bless this 19 year old real life hero for saving the lives of a mother and her two children- one of whom is a four month old infant, from James Holmes rampage.
Did I mention young Mr. Brooks did more than her boyfriend, who promptly fled when shooting started???
Young Black men get alot of bad press. While quick to denounce chocolate Klansmen I also quickly recognize young brothers who show the world how we ( and any decent person ) should act.
While pushing Ms. Patricia Legarreta and her children to safety, effectively shielding them with his body, they were both regrettably shot. Hopping on one leg our young hero’s only thoughts were, “ I have to get this family out, without getting hit myself. I managed to do one” he told ABC News.
Real life heroism.
All young Black men aren’t cowards or criminals.
Many of them do great deeds like Jarell Brooks but are overshadowed by peers hell bent on destroying everyone around them.
Pundits say the Dark knight wasn’t there to save the day. I respectfully disagree.
Young Jarell Brooks and other real life ” dark knights ” rose to the occasion- getting wounded or even killed to protect others- just like the fictional superhero they gathered to watch on the big screen.
Congratulations young brother!

Stunned Americans and good people globally await revelation about WHY suspect James Holmes went on a historic masked murder spree that one ” real life superhero ( RLSH ) ” activist named Anti Hero labeled as the work of a ” real life super criminal. ”

Let’s take comfort in stories of real life heroism which media is sharing.
Even in the face of such terrifying danger some thought of others and acted accordingly. Caring about the next person even if it risks our lives is one sure defense against what I hope will NEVER become a trend:” real life super criminals” using comic book culture to embellish rampages.
Our hands are full enough with so-called “normal” sociopaths; gangs and the like.
Marvel at the real life heroism Holmes encountered.

Our beloved comic book culture, as fans and for some. superhero theme activists, was used as a back drop to commit mass murder inside an Aurora Colorado movie premier of ” the Dark Knight Rises. “
Americans and world citizens who love this medium should look deeply into unfolding events and resolve to use one of its core values, individual vigilance to enhance public safety, to help people better secure what’s always been society’s soft under belly: theaters; malls; stores, eateries, etc.
Members of what media calls ” the real life superhero ( RLSH ) ” now have a golden opportunity to put aside petty squabbles in the face of a masked assault embodying the worst villainy of fact and fiction. Their use of superhero imagery can assume new seriousness in wake of this tragedy.
The Free World is being tested these days. From domestic crime to foreign terrorism free people are being battered by angry dissidents and worse. Those who enjoy comic books unbridled freedom and the few who even take this to the streets should unite to pump new life into tired appeals about being vigilant in public.
Whether this shooter is a loner or part of a plot our beloved comic book culture nonetheless has preached awareness against sudden evil from its inception. We ( meaning fans and activists ) shouldn’t go spastic and stage embarrassing fan boy pr exercises or misguided vigilantism as clumsy attempts to calm a frightened populace.
Using our beloved comic book culture as fans and activists to creatively high light the need for real life vigilance will be more than enough.
Our fictional heroes and heroines once again have shown us the way.
Whether we use their example to make horrible facts like this movie massacre history remains to be seen.
