Personal Home Security

?Now it certainly is not my intention to alarm anyone, but I would like to bring up an important detail to those who may not have thought about it.  If you are involved with neighborhood watch, or community safety patrols, it is important to be aware of your Personal Home Safety.  While other homes in the community may be subject to criminal activities, as someone who actively reports on such activities to the authorities, you may find your own home targeted frequently by vandals, or worse.  Harassing phone calls, graffiti, the loss of family pets, vandalism of your personal vehicle, these are just some of the revenge tactics assholes (not always just the criminals you report) may engage in.  It is important you protect yourself and your family.

too much time has gone by. . .i’ve placed myself out of the loop to get my bearings again. . .i know much has been said and much has gone on. . .well. . .i’m leaving it all where it should be. . .in the past and i’m leaving it alone. . .it is time to dust off. . .gear up. . .and go forward. . .i look forward to begining again. . .doing what i can to help. . .i have been active. . .in my little corner. . .and it’s been good. . .i’ll write more about that later. . .i just wanted to say hi. . .and that it’s okay to start fresh. . .don’t let anyone drag you down. . .even if you need to step away for awhile. . .it’s not worth letting others dictate what you do. . .or what you say. . .it may take you awile to figure that out. . .but when you do. . .you’ll be stronger for it. . .don’t let the noise bother you. . .find your foundations. . .if you need to refocus and refine them. . .that is what life is all about. . .drop what doesn’t add to your life. . .and go forward. . .enjoy your day. . .be safe. . .and be that good example the world needs. . .destorying things doesn’t help the world. . .even if you think things evil. . .change the world by your heart. . .by your goodness. . .by your example. . .don’t fight evil with evil. . .it only engergies it. . .
 

Well now that I’m back in town I took a quick look around last night to see if the local precinct had been able to make any progress w/ the tips I left them before I flew out of the city.
All of the gang graffiti for at least a 2 block radius has been cleaned up, and there were no signs of drug dealers at 10:30 PM which is rare in the area I pinpointed. So rare it almost never happens at night.
Within the next few days I’ll get to see how much of a long-term impact this makes (things move fast around here), and see if somebody else tries to take the turf…which in that case, the Tac Force has already been tipped off, so I probably wouldn’t have to prod too much to stop a turf war.
Now I wait…
