They range in age from 15 to 50, create heroic identities and wear costumes. Almost all have two traits\u2014a love of comics and a desire to improve their communities (from City Pages, 2008). Sunday\u2019s Superhero Geist had words of encouragement for the crowd as he mingled with attendees.
