Well Boom goes the Dynamite…remember that nice NY Cop who handed out the $100 pairs of boots to the Homeless people last week? Well one of the Scumbags now wants Money for any profit made from the YouTube Videos etc. Oh and quick note, he no longer has the boots, He sold them for Drugs & Booze. And this is why I switched my Emphasis from Helping the Homeless to helping Kids, and Families in need. Now I’m sure I’ll get a slew of comments saying “Well you’re wrong Old super Hero because the Homeless Douche I help is actually the Arch Angel Gabriel in disguise & rainbows shoot out his butt etc.”
Spare me in advance….and help some people who deserve your help.

How do you think the police officer feels? Still we must not succumb to frustrations. Keep in mind that there are over 18.000 homeless people in Pinellas County alone and these are not all bums and drunks. Entire families living in their cars with children washing up in gas station bathrooms before they go to school. I wish there was someway to find out who these kids are but the schools will not release any personal info. As for the rest I look at them and say, “Except for the Grace of God there goes me.” I have been verbally attacked and had some of the more seriously mentally ill take some swings at me. I’ve had things thrown at me and and knives pulled on me. It does get frustrating at times but it’s the grateful ones who keep me coming back to them. My only regret is that I am only one man and can only do so much. As for your choice of who to help, it’s up to you. Help is still help.

You just said yourself man you look for Families in cars etc. And mentally ill is mentally ill & sooner or later they’ll end up in a facility of some kind. But I saw way more of the type in the above article then the later.

Greetings Superhero…while I agree that this is a horrible ordeal…I must say that no good deed, however it might turn out was done in vain…even for a brief moment that police officer showed that not all officers of the law are…well…evil bullies, which unfortunately many individuals do. He still affected the world in a positive way…despite how it turned out.

Not the Police officers fault at all, He got taken by a con man. Be careful so the same thing doesn’t happen to you.

So a person who has nothing wants to try to get something from a video made of himself, and that makes him scum? So what if a cop gave him a pair of boots? He was still homeless with a pair of boots. Perhaps you should try to do something brave like spend a month as a homeless person. You may accidentally develop the power of a conscience.

actually smart ass if you read the article you’d have seen that the guy wasn’t homeless…he has a free…tax dollar supplied apartment in Brooklyn and just PRETENDS to be homeless to get handouts. Do some homework before you soot your mouth off next time.
