Who Says I Can't Be A Black Conservative Real Life Superhero?
” Be your OWN Superhero!”
” Be your OWN Superhero!”
I discussed on line a demonstration idea ( lying down on street car tracks ) to call attention to a pregnant, young Black Chicago woman who died at a Planned parenthood clinic; abortion period & inner city murder. He tried to spin that into a criminal conspiracy. In his mind it was evil for a Black man to think like that.
I still don’t see how his sexuality means anything, or how this was anti family radicalism
I’m a proponent of traditional marriage & am pro-life. This is contrary to the social world view he promotes.
Black America needs an intact male/female family unit & less abortion.
He’s a supporter of the opposite. Instead of respecting my right to my views he unsuccessfully tried to demonize me for them.
His orientation & extreme liberalism motivated this.
Fabricating me as publically hatching some criminal conspiracy was extremist, motivated by his obvious hatred of people, especially black ones it seems, who are pro-life and support traditional marriage.
I dont agree with liberalism but I also don’t sink to Zimmer’s methods. Your continued inquiry shows once more why more conservative RLSH need to speak up.
If some RLSH don’t champion traditional values then by default this community turns a blind eye to what creates the urban crime and despair it addresses.
I’m black too, but I’m a liberal, I’m not an Obama supporter (I didn’t vote for him in 08 and I’m not Tuesday), instead I’ve been an active Ron Paul support since 08, and no I’m not voting for Romney. Black conservatives are becoming more and more common and I thinks it’s a good thing, however I’ve never been one for party politics, because I find that a lot of people simply vote for the party and not the man, who in actuality does things they might disagree with, instead I dislike party politics altogether, because of this reality.
I believe in small government, constitutionality, less spending (less debt), no wars (unless it’s absolutely necessary, and even then in and out, no more of this 10 year crap for profit), less laws, no outsourcing, more personal freedom, and more egalitarianism socially and economically, so as you can see neither party represents me entirely.
@The Philosopher: I voted for Ron Paul in the 08 Republican primary and this one too! The Black community and America period needs independent thinkers like you who are wary of blind partisanship and open to the benefits of smaller, smarter government in our lives! Pleasure hearing from you
Rock on Brother!!
Southern White man here, Libertarian as well. Liberal Left forces me to vote GOP. Keep up the great work! Leadership is what we need, and you sir are the very essence of everything that makes a great leader. Thank you very much. Stumbling upon this has been the most positive thing I have seen during this entire 4 year election cycle. It’s not about race people, it’s about being a good human being AND raising your children to be the same.

Bro Chris, we may not be super powered like comic book heroes but using America’s super principles we can poer out way ro accomplishing anything! 🙂
Dude, chill; Zimmer’s been a dick head to just about everyone, he’s loud, and doesn’t compromise his beliefs, much the same way you do, and much the same way I was. I recently learned that mutually, and respectfully agreeing to disagree in an accepting manner of one another’s belief is the key to coexisting. But I’m Libertarian; I basically believe people should just mind their own business more; not in a bad way, I mean like just focussing on bettering themselves as much as they can be. The best way is to lead by example. If you have’t already, maybe you should (respectfully and politely and calmly of course, as though you were talking to a friend), and if he persists, just say ,”Well, I really wish you didn’t feel that way, but oh well. =)” and continue on your lifes journey being the awesome you that you are like nothing ever happened. People know the difference between right and wrong, and striving towards embodying virtue and good/strong character is the best way to sort of “sell” peace and love to humanity, because it’s such a distinctive message and others will pick up on it, and will have even more respect for you, because they truly do know the right path, they just need a guide to show them the way. All I can do is try and be that guide, but I can only teach those willing to learn. 🙂
And with respect and and acceptance I shall conclude. 🙂
Stay true. Stay free. Stay safe.

Whoops, looked like part of it got erased, “respectfully, politely, and calmly of course; explain to him how you feel and that you would really appreciate it if you, and he could be friends, but if not then if you could both agree to ignore each other and respect each others belief, and then just ignore him, if he’s as bad as you believe, (personally though, you just need to work on seeing his good side, it took me a while but we’re friends now, but oh boy, he hated my guts when I first showed up haha XD ).
And I’m not trying to say your “bad” or anything, your actuall one of my heroes, and I’ve read a lot about you; I’m simply trying to share an alternative which could proove to have better, more positive results for the both of you in the end. 🙂
I make friends with TONS of people I highly, but respectfully disagree with, because perhaps I could rub off on him a little and help make him a better person by being a rolemodel, and staying true to my values while being accepting of his. 🙂
Again, I sincerely am just sharing some friendly constructive criticism, I don’t mean to offend you in any way and if you feel I am misunderstanding something don’t hesitate to let me know. 🙂
Stay true. Stay free. Stay safe.

” D_k head ” or not, he got out of line and was handled for it.
Thanks for the input but Zimmer is a moot point. I did’t know this “d-k head ” side of him because I dont involve myself in RLSH drama.
He got out of line. He got disciplined.
I’m not black nor am I conservative… but I very much agreed with most of your blog entry, thought it was very well written and instantly wanted to do the opposite of the distancing you described, and to instead find and friend you on FaceBook or anywhere else you may be.
… until some of the details in the replies were posted…
It perfectly fine if you choose not to be in a same-sex relationship or marriage… but having laws against it is discriminatory. Plain and simple. How exactly DO you “support” “traditional” marriage? If you vote to pass or retain laws against same-sex marriage, you are perpetuatuating that discrimination. I would think a black person would be more empathetic towards other groups that are discriminated against… you have a little experience with that. If you would vote in such a way that would negatively impact my harmless personal life… such as marrying the girl I love… don’t expect THIS RLSH to think highly of you.
I never advocated laws banning gay marriage or a federal marriage amendment.
I privately promote stable, two-parent families for children as the best insurance against the chaos destroying too many communities like the one I grew up in.
It’s not about pigment- it’s about principles that increase chances of success in life during children’s formative years.
Ok you’re cool. and I respect your thinking outside the box, and not being afraid of making enemies by expressing views that aren’t popular in a community you are part of. If you’re on FaceBook, I would welcome friending you… if you can stand my views. Most of my political posts are overwith now that the election is over with though. I very proudly voted for Obama. I have also been putting together a group for democratic RLSHs who may feel they are helping the country in a heroic way by supporting democratic candidates and issues… but in a seperate group so as not to bother and offend anybody.
Funny thing is… even though I supported Obama back in 2008 as well… I was upset about how people voted. It beame ALL about race. And even though they were helping the candidate that I wanted to win… I thought it was wrong that 97% of black voters voted for Obama… It’s racist to vote for somebody primarily due to the color of their skin! And with statistics like I mentioned… it’s pretty clear that they were voting not for a person or his views… but to get the first black president in the white house. So even though I was happy with the winner… it felt like a dishonest win since it was a racist win. Like you said… think for yourself…!
But back to the topic… with same+sex marriage and abortion issues aside… do any RLSHs actually think less of you just because you’re conservative? I find that hard to believe… we should be more mature than that.
SINCE I mentioned it… Here’s a link to the “Dem Political Heroes” group… if anybody is interested https://www.facebook.com/groups/426453627410307/
Congratulations Bro Saber:
RLSH should use our personae and tactics to assist the political process the same way we do criminal justice and social service delivery!
The status quo needs some ingenuity pumped into it and that’s where WE come in!
Thanks for taking this creative activism to one of its inevitable next steps!
