I always find it odd…
I always find it odd…that the people who criticize me for carrying a firearm, are the people that are the REASON I carry a firearm. I was AGAINST carrying when I started doing this. Look way back and you’ll see I liked Non lethal weapons (ARMA 100 etc.) and Muscle. then the threats started rolling in, my Job, my loved ones, my life, the list goes on. YOU people changed my mind & now YOU people criticize me….bizarre.
I’m just glad I live in a country where I CAN protect myself & loved ones FROM you. The hypocrisy is so thick…you know the rest. And who you are.

You know I’ve been carrying one for 22 years now and have yet to receive any criticism. On the other hand I only introduced myself to the rlsh community when I learned about it last year, so perhaps that is the reason.
There really is such a thing as responsible gun ownership. I have never once had to use it on anyone. In the beginning I carried two blank cartridges I used to fire into the air as a warning shot. (So no stray bullet would come down and hit anyone).
Then once the internet came into being I was able to order rubber bullets. The only time I ever had to use it was in the 90’s at Mirror Lake Park. I saw some punks roughing up an old homeless man. I pulled down the mask and fired twice into the air and shouted for them to leave him alone. They ran off.
Now I admit that this could have gone badly. They might have shot back and I would now be dead, but if you’re not willing to risk your life for others you’ve no business doing this.
So my advice is to ignore the critics. If they wish to go into parks or what have you and confront drug dealers and other dangerous criminals unarmed that is the chance they have chosen to take, but they shouldn’t criticise others for choosing to arm themselves.
I have never had to shoot anyone. Most situations can be handled without firearms, but I certainly would not feel comfortable walking on the south side of St. Petersburg completely unarmed and I for one do not condemn you or anyone else for doing so.
We’re not all George Zimmerman’s or Bee Sting’s.
